Sculptor, brother of Mirko and Afro, was born in Udine in 1909. He worked in Udine, Rome and Monza, where he frequently spent time with Arthur Martini. He is specialized in the sculpture of marble and subsequently iron, he also uses second-hand materials to realize works of great dimensions that are characterized by a primitivistic and barbaric style. His most famous sculptures are “La chimera che lotta con il Minotauro” and “La chimera che lotta con il Centauro”, situated at the entrance for the authorities of the EUR building in Rome. A whole room of the Gallery of Modern Art of Udine is dedicated to him. He taught sculpture at the Academy of Art in Udine from 1970 to 1977, the year of his death.
