Painter, was born in 1887 in the province of Cuneo. In 1892 he moves to Verona, where he becomes a student of Alfred Savini of the Cignaroli Academy. He joins the group of Casorati, Trentini and Zancolli and exhibits his paintings in different editions of the Biennale Exhibition in Venice (1912, 1914, 1924, 1926, 1928 and 1930). In 1920, he ranks first at the Quadriennale in Turin (with the work “I filosofi“) and wins the Fumagalli Award in Brera (with “Le pazze“) and the first Biennale exhibition in Naples (with “Giorno di Visita“). In 1930, his paintings are exhibited in Paris at the Exposition de la Gravure et de the medaille italienne contemporaine and in 1934 he is awarded by the Academy of Italy for the twelve incisions “I bronzi di San Zeno“. He died in Verona in 1965.
