Photographer, painter and performing Swiss artist, was born in 1947. He studies at the School of Applied Arts of Zurich. He is fascinated by the Pop art scene and in 1966 has a personal exhibit in Berna. From 1969 onwards he begins to investigates the field of the photography, prior to this he focused on acrylic painting on canvasses of large dimensions and created art installations. He is a tenured professor at the Kassel Art Academy and in 2001 he took part to in the Biennale Exhibition in Venice, where he staged an ironic and disrespectful installation. From the Center Pompidou in Paris to the Madre Museum in Naples, his works are well known and appreciated throughout the world.
